Ulanzi MT-89 Quick Release Light Stand with Cold Shoe Mount

Product Description

For creators who value speed and efficiency, the Ulanzi MT-89 Quick Release Light Stand with Cold Shoe Mount is a game-changer. Combining the height of a professional light stand with the portability of a travel tripod, it features a unique Quick Release system that slashes setup time, allowing you to focus on the perfect shot rather than fumbling with gear.

Key Features

The MT–89 is engineered for versatility, serving as a light stand, a tripod, or a high-reach vlogging pole.

Revolutionary Quick Release System

Stop twisting and turning. The MT-89 features Ulanzi’s proprietary quick-lock mechanism. With a simple press, you can mount or swap lights, microphones, or cameras in seconds. It’s designed for the “run-and-gun” creator who needs to transition between setups instantly.

Integrated Cold Shoe Mount

Unlike traditional light stands that require extra adapters, the MT-89 comes with a built-in cold shoe mount. This allows you to attach a shotgun microphone or a wireless receiver directly to the stand alongside your light, creating a clean, compact rig.

Exceptional Height for Better Lighting

Reaching a maximum height of 190cm, this stand allows you to position your key light or fill light well above your subject’s eye level, eliminating harsh shadows and creating professional-grade “Rembrandt” lighting for interviews and vlogs.

Ultra-Portable for Travel

Constructed from lightweight yet durable aluminum, the MT-89 folds down to just 49cm. It’s small enough to strap to the side of a camera bag, making it the ideal companion for wedding photographers and travel YouTubers.

Ideal Use Cases

• Studio Portraits: Stable enough to hold LED panels and small softboxes.

• Live Streaming: Use the height to clear your computer monitors for a perfect overhead fill light.

• External Audio: The cold shoe mount makes it an excellent “boom stand” for microphones during interviews.

• Top-Down Shooting: Its stability and height make it great for capturing overhead product shots or flat-lays.
